Klein Marine Systems has entered into a strategic partnership with Spry Technocon Pvt. Ltd., Teledyne Marine, and VideoRay to pursue an integrated Unmanned Mine Countermeasure (MCM) solution supporting the Indian Navy’s evolving mine warfare requirements.
The collaboration brings together complementary capabilities in high-resolution side-scan sonar, underwater sensing, autonomous underwater vehicles, remotely operated vehicles, systems integration, and lifecycle support. The proposed modular solution is intended to support mine detection, classification, identification, and other critical MCM operations.
Klein Marine Systems will contribute its U.S.-manufactured, high-resolution side-scan sonar systems and technical integration expertise. Spry Technocon will provide in-country engineering, system integration, suite-level manufacturing, and lifecycle support, helping align the partnership with India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives.
The partnership combines Klein’s sonar technology with Teledyne Marine’s underwater sensing and autonomous systems expertise, VideoRay’s deployable ROV capabilities, and Spry Technocon’s indigenous engineering and integration capabilities.
Together, the companies will pursue a comprehensive and scalable MCM solution designed to strengthen operational readiness and support the future of unmanned mine warfare in India.
