All images are Copyright © 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 Daniel Klein. Permission is granted to use any/all of the photographs on this page for personal use only. Specifically, you may use them for screensavers or desktop images only, but you may not republish (or hot-link) them on the web or in print without explicit written permission. All commercial use is explicitly prohibited without a license agreement (I generally give no-charge royalty free licenses to students, non-profits, etc., but you must ask before any non-personal use.)
I produce these images as greeting cards, and I also have a limited number of high quality photographic reproductions available up to 12"x18". Except as noted, all images are shot with ambient light in the bird's habitat at the National Aviary. Flash was hardly ever used – it scares the birds. All images were shot as 12 Mpixel JPEG with a Fuji S-2 Pro and either a Tamron 38-300mm zoom or a Sigma 50-500mm zoom. All images are as-shot – nothing is cropped.
